Stay in a historic five-star villa on the world’s most glamourous lake

Grand Hotel Tremezzo now owns and manages two exquisite villas on Lake Como: Villa Sola Cabiati and Villa Passalacqua.

The family-owned Grand Hotel Tremezzo , an Art Nouveau palace dating back to 1910, commands one of the most enchanting positions on Lake Como – enjoying panoramic views of the town of Bellagio, the Riviera delle Azalee and the Grigne Mountains. Now, the grand property manages two historic accommodations, Villa Sola Cabiati and Villa Passalacqua, both available for exclusive stays for families or groups.

Villa Sola Cabiati

Villa Sola Cabiati is a neoclassical residence dating back to the 18th century, once the summer abode of Italian condottiero and general Serbelloni Dukes. The villa is perfectly suited to romantic dinners, celebrations, parties, al fresco luncheons and picnics with friends and family.

Boasting six suites for up to 12 guests, each with a bedroom, bathroom and living area, furnished in its own unique style, there is also a full staff available, including a butler, chambermaid, housekeeper and private chef.

Located just a few minutes via a water limousine from the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, guests can enjoy the five restaurants and bars, beach and award-winning T Spa on offer at the sister property. Or you can simply choose to spend afternoons whiling hours away in the villa’s Italian garden with arabesque flowerbeds, park and pool.

Villa Passalacqua

The 18th century residence of Villa Passalacqua is an Italian national monument and located just moments from the city of Como. Perched on the western shore amid the summer houses of the world’s elite, the villa is the ideal getaway for those looking for total privacy.

Perfect for large parties such as weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and other important milestones, the main villa hosts nine suites complete with ornate ceilings and beautiful bathrooms, while Villa Bellini, the guesthouse, offers an additional four rooms, comfortably sleeping a total of 26 guests. The garden, complete with dreamy views over the lake, can seat 250 guests under a beautiful canopy for a celebration en pleine air, while the interior halls can host up to 120 guests.

Guests can relax in the extensive gardens, take a dip in the heated outdoor pool on the Swimming Terrace or spend quality time together in the dining rooms, movie theatre, workout studio and billiard room.
