New accommodation aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
The new accommodation aboard Belmond’s opulent Venice Simplon- Orient-Express takes guests back in time.
The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express is among the most storied trains in the world. Often associated with its opulence, the historic locomotive not only takes its guests across Europe but also back to the glamour and elegance of the Golden Age of travelling by rail.
With the addition of three new Grand Suites in March, Belmond and the VSOE pay homage to three of the train’s classic destinations: Istanbul, Venice and Paris.
Each Grand Suite reimagines the original Art Deco design in polished woods, sumptuous fabrics and antique fixtures. The spacious retreats all feature double beds, private bathrooms with showers (complete with complimentary Art Deco bathrobes) and a living area for reclining while the landscape unfolds before you.
In the Istanbul Suite, honeyed tones and intricately inlaid wood recall sunny days overlooking the Bosphorus Strait, while Paris is perennially chic with a pared-back, elegant design. The Venice Suite embodies baroque style with its ornate decor and rich jewel tones, offset by handcrafted Venetian glass.
Guests of these suites will not only travel in supreme sophistication but also enjoy private transfers to and from the train. Free-flowing champagne, served by a personal cabin steward, is available throughout the journey, as is in-suite dining.
Embrace the Roaring Twenties as you journey across Europe with a culinary adventure of a lifetime aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. Stop by the champagne bar to conjure the romance and glamour of the Jazz Age with Art Deco interiors and Lalique glassware, guaranteed to channel your inner Scott or Zelda.
