Sydney Rocks! Enjoy Christmas on Sydney Harbour with True North

Celebrate this festive season in True North style. With a Christmas and a boat racing combination that’s bound to bring the magic.

Want to celebrate Christmas on Sydney Harbour. Then grab the best seat in the house for the start of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race? True North has all this waiting for you.

Starry nights

On Christmas Night, crew will welcome you aboard True North for the return of the Blue Water Classic. A cocktail will start proceedings then it’s time for dinner, which promises to be a feast for all the senses, against the stunning backdrop of Sydney Harbour. The next morning, the day begins early for a True North highlight – a visit to the Cruising Yacht Club on the starting day of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race. Experience the pre-race tension and then enjoy a champagne breakfast on the bow of True North whilst you watch the start of the race from the best seats in Sydney. In the afternoon visit the Opera House or Taronga Zoo before returning to True North as it cruises up the spectacular coast of North Sydney to Pittwater.

Nature at its best

The following morning, enjoy breakfast in the beautiful surrounds of Pittwater before taking the majestic walk to the Barrenjoey Lighthouse. Next hike from Longnose Point to Flint and Steel Bay through the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park – Australia’s second oldest national park. The True North helicopter will then fly to the Hunter Valley for a wine tasting before another stunning evening meal – this time surrounded by the Australian bush.

Wake up in Jerusalem Bay

On your final day, wake up to the shrill of the Jerusalem Bay cicadas and then join a local guide to explore beautiful Cowen Creek. Stand in the very spot where the Australian Constitution was signed before enjoying a refreshing swim at one of the Creek’s many sheltered beaches. Whilst you are enjoying lunch, the True North will make its way to Middle Harbour then onto Bantry Bay. Visit the Broken Bay Pearl Farm before a final night on board to dance the night away with a live band. The next morning, you’ll wake up back in Sydney Harbour ready to disembark.
