Tickets now on sale to Sydney’s most glamorous New Year’s Eve celebration
Tickets are now on sale for Opera Australia‘s New Year’s Eve 2019, offering a sensational night of world-class opera performances, glamorous dining and sumptuous parties at the Sydney Opera House.
Sydney Harbour is one of the world’s most loved locations and on New Year’s Eve it hosts its biggest night of the year, the world-famous New Year’s Eve Celebrations, and the Opera House is the place to be.
Opera Australia takes over with its New Year’s Eve at the Sydney Opera House celebration with two spectacular performances to choose from: a lavish production of Puccini’s La Bohème in the Joan Sutherland Theatre or the Opera Gala in the Concert Hall, a concert of crowd-favourite arias sung by Australia’s finest opera singers and accompanied by the 60-piece Opera Australia Orchestra.
Interval for both performances is timed to coincide with the 9pm Sydney Harbour firework display.
Guests can make NYE at Sydney Opera House even more memorable by adding the Pre-Gala Dinner and Midnight Party to their performance ticket. These events, held before and after the performances in the northern foyers of the Opera House, secure guests’ ring-side access to the spectacular midnight fireworks display.
The Pre-Gala Dinner features champagne on arrival and a gourmet three-course meal matched with premium wines. The Midnight Party kicks off after the performance, and includes live music, canapès and beverages that will see guests well into the New Year.
For the ultimate NYE experience guests can book the Platinum package, which includes priority dinner seating, the very best platinum reserve performance seats, a program, champagne at interval and the Midnight Party.
There’s no other place like Sydney, and there’s nowhere else to be than at the Sydney Opera House on New Year’s Eve.
