Door to deck: Seabourn’s new private jet service will fly you directly to your cruise
Passengers can now use a private jet service to get to and from ports of call.
Cruising with Seabourn just got a whole lot fancier. Starting on 15 August, passengers can book a private jet service to and from their ports of call and for mid-voyage sightseeing when sailing on one of the company’s five ships. The chartered jet program, called Seabourn Private Air, was developed for guests who would rather bypass commercial flights for a more exclusive way to get to and from their cruise.
The service will be able to accommodate groups of any size upon request, with light charter jets capable of carrying five to eight passengers, mid-size jets seven to eight passengers and heavy private jets nine to 16 passengers. Pricing will vary by itinerary and aircraft, and passengers are booking the entire aircraft, not just a seat.
Seabourn Private Air will be available from numerous airports around the world that service private aviation, as well as most major international hubs. Private transfers to and from the airport – plus to and from Seabourn’s cruise ports – will also be included.
The aircraft will feature Wi-Fi; a private valet luggage service; complimentary brand food and beverage options onboard every flight, including highlights such as Regiis Ova caviar, K+M Chocolates and Montaudon champagne; and amenities by Molton Brown. You can even book cabin attendants, if you so please.
