Two return business-class flights with Etihad Airways
Etihad Airways’ Business Class offering is unique in that it provides a standard of luxury usually reserved for first-class travel. This is evident not only in the introduction of its next-generation Business Studio, offering 20 per cent more personal space, but also in its exceptional service, entertainment options and lounge.
A complimentary chauffeur service delivers passengers effortlessly to the priority check-in at Abu Dhabi Airport, where Etihad’s Premium Lounge is a personal haven of service and style. Have your clothes pressed while you indulge in the buffet, freshen up in the shower facilities or relax with a shave or spa treatment. On board, the creature comforts continue as flyers recline on leather seats – each with aisle access, power supply and USB outlets – that convert into fully flat, extra-wide beds.
An onboard menu offers fresh, bistro-inspired dining and can be ordered, along with your selection of champagne or wine, at any time throughout the flight. This is just one way Etihad Airways invites you to ‘Choose Well’ and create an individually tailored experience.
Two nights at Saadiyat Rotana, visiting Louvre Abu Dhabi
With an absolute beachfront location on Saadiyat Island, this five-star property is a striking example of the regal decadence for which Abu Dhabi has become renowned. A nine-kilometre stretch of white sand invites guests to discover the abundance of life that calls Abu Dhabi home, such as the indigenous hawksbill turtle – or to simply don your sunhats and flop by the waves.
Sweeping sea vistas abound as you stroll through the resort grounds, and you will find them everywhere from its well-appointed rooms and villas to the fully equipped gym. For health-conscious holidaymakers, the gym is open 24 hours and is complemented by saunas, two tennis courts, mini-golf and, upon request, personal training services.
Guests looking instead to wind down the pressure will not be disappointed by Zen the Spa at Rotana. Through a private entrance, private treatment rooms and relaxation areas offer massages, facials and specialist Himalayan, Turkish and Moroccan Hammam wellbeing treatments, designed to alleviate the stress of both mind and body.
In addition to breakfast and return airport transfers, enjoy a complimentary visit to The Louvre Abu Dhabi’s permanent galleries, which tell the story of humanity through 12 chapters, each focusing on a shared theme in diverse civilisations and cultures. Temporary exhibitions are also included, of which there are four each year, created in collaboration with the museum’s French partners.
Two nights at La Réserve Paris Hotel & Spa
From two-Michelin-starred gastronomy to richly adorned interiors, La Réserve Paris embodies the timeless elegance of its eighth arrondissement surrounds in every way. Its striking red doors are slightly set back from Avenue Gabriel, the famed Champs-Élysées mere moments away, and to step through them reveals just 40 guest rooms, each continuing the legacy of the property’s 19th-century aristocratic beginnings.
Once the home of the family of the Duke of Morny (half-brother of Napoleon III) and, more recently, the property of designer Pierre Cardin, today the mansion is one of The Leading Hotels of the World and offers guests first-class comforts both long-established, such as in-suite wine cellars and a dedicated butler, to the ultra-modern, such as iPad controls and a technologically advanced toilet.
Executive chef Jérôme Banctel spearheads the hotel’s two restaurants, championing the great classics of French gastronomy and seasonal produce, while just three treatment rooms surround the 16-metre indoor pool, where body and face treatments are individually tailored to guests’ needs. Daily breakfast is included, served beside the greenery of the hotel’s inner courtyard at La Pagode de Cos.

Three nights at Domaine des Etangs
Discover one of France’s lesser-known regions at this five-star resort which, with over 1,000 hectares of protected natural surrounds, is the country’s largest. Seven years of dedicated effort has seen the 11th-century château beautifully restored, now containing seven suites and an extensive spa complete with thermal baths.
Across the château, longhouse and farm cottages, the estate houses just 29 rooms and suites in total. With the assistance of French landscape designer Camille Muller and Parisian architect, Isabelle Stanislas, the property has been designed to reflect a connection to nature, from light-filled interior spaces to the 800 cattle that remain on the estate grounds. Among the most impressive collaborations with the landscape is a floating lakeside tennis court, complementing other leisurely activities including horse riding and oenology lessons.
Fruit and vegetables utilised in the Michelin-starred restaurant, Dyades, are sourced from the estate’s own gardens, and crayfish is sourced from the river that winds through the woodlands. Beyond the restaurant’s walls, guests may experience the chef Loïc Lecoin’s culinary mastery with picnic baskets, at a barbecue hidden in the heart of the forest or with rib-eye steaks cooked in the farmhouse chimney stoves.
