Raffles Singapore commences accepting suite reservations
Raffles Singapore has commenced accepting reservations for stays commencing 1 August 2019 onwards, ahead of its reopening in mid-2019.
The reopening of Raffles will continue to offer luxurious all-suite accommodations with an expanded suite count of 115. This includes the introduction of exquisite new suite categories and updating existing accommodation with new amenities and technology, all while maintaining the sense of space and ambience.
Complementing a suite stay at Raffles will be a variety of social spaces and lifestyle experiences. This includes a refreshed Raffles Boutique (previously the gift shop) that will house a History Gallery to illustrate the heritage of Raffles Singapore. The Arcade will also be home to new retail concepts and a brand-new Raffles Spa, a holistic sanctuary for hotel residents and the community to escape the bustle of the city.
The dining experiences will combine the hotel’s much-loved culinary traditions with contemporary dining concepts by renowned celebrity chefs. Each dining concept promises to tantalise the senses and has been carefully developed to enhance the famed ‘Raffles Experience’ for you. These include Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse’s first Mediterranean sharing and grill concept, titled BBR by Alain Ducasse. Anne-Sophie Pic, one of the world’s top female chefs with three Michelin stars, makes her debut in Asia with her La Dame de Pic at Raffles Singapore concept.
Signature dining experiences that over the years have come to be synonymous with the hotel will make their return to delight visitors and locals alike. These returning favourites include the Singapore Sling at Long Bar, North Indian cuisine at Tiffin Room and the classic Raffles Afternoon Tea.
Currently, the historic Long Bar has been fully restored and recently reopened in its original location at the Raffles Arcade, presenting the authentic sling experience where this cocktail was created more than 100 years ago. Long Bar continues its proud tradition as the home of the Singapore Sling. Its refreshed decor retains its inspiration from Malayan plantation life in the 1920s, transporting patrons to the edge of a tropical plantation.
Long Bar is open daily from 11am to 11pm, with a menu currently kept to a selection of craft cocktails and the beloved Singapore Sling. In keeping with tradition, guests and visitors will continue to enjoy the simplicity of having peanuts directly from the gunny sack and throwing their shells on the floor as part of the full Long Bar experience.
The pop-up Raffles Gift Shop remains open throughout the restoration at 3 Seah Street.
Be one of the first to stay in a beautifully restored suite and indulge in bespoke luxury and personalised service, true hallmarks of the Raffles experience. In the personal sanctuary of your suite, experience the glamour and sophistication of the golden age of travel.
