Five years in the making, the multi-million dollar precinct development includes a hotel, conference centre, wellness and fitness centre, restaurant and bar.
From 11 August 2023, Pullman Sydney Penrith and Western Sydney Conference Centre invite guests to explore the long-awaited $110 million precinct development, encompassing business, entertainment and leisure facilities. The sustainably-minded hotel is completely free of single-use plastics, local providers are used where possible, and charging stations for electric vehicles are available in the hotel car park. The location of the development places guests at a central base for exploring Sydney, the Blue Mountains or the coast, and has also served as a source of inspiration for architecture and design studio, Turner, who oversaw the construction.

Design of Pullman Sydney Penrith
The fluid shape of the building is inspired by the nearby Nepean River, and the polished metal ceiling panels across the underside of the building’s roof represent the way sunlight reflects upon the river’s surface. Landscape architecture firm, Oculus, managed the planting and garden concept for the project, selecting predominantly native species. The concept is completed by the First Nations sculpture that tells the story of the river’s importance as a food source to the Dharug people.

In addition to the usual amenities, a hair straightener, clothes steamer, plush robes and slippers can all be found in each suite, while natural skincare amenities from Australian-born Hunter Lab and Nespresso coffee machines appear in every room. Tori and Marcel Bar and Bistro
Named after renowned architect Marcel Breuer, whose only building in Australia is heritage-listed and located in Penrith, Marcel Bar and Bistro is located on the first floor at the head of a sweeping staircase and boasts Bauhaus-inspired interior design. The modern European menu is complimented by an open wine cellar that guests can browse while chatting with sommeliers. Located in the ground floor lobby, Tori puts a contemporary twist on the traditional lobby bar offering with all-day light bites, brews from local coffee bean roasters and pastries for breakfast. In the evening, Tori transforms into a live music hotspot.
