Dubai is opening one of the world’s tallest infinity pools
Dubai’s famous man-made Palm Jumeirah is adding one of the world’s highest infinity pools to its luxury playground on top of the brand-new Palm Tower.
Construction is now complete on one of the world’s most impressive infinity pools designed by developer Nakheel. Located on the 50th floor of the soon-to-be-open Palm Tower in Dubai, this futuristic pool will offer panoramic views of the city and the Arabian Gulf.
Standing on a 210-metre perch above ground, the pool – one of the highest in the world – envelops all four sides of the building until it seemingly disappears into the sea. Palm trees, deck chairs, cabanas and a poolside bar will surround the new attraction.
Above the pool, a restaurant sits on the 51st floor and a public viewing deck on the topmost level, which will also feature an interactive museum. This three-storey attraction will be called “The View at The Palm.”
The Palm Tower will be located at the heart of Palm Jumeirah – an artificial island that can be seen from space – and will comprise of a 289-room St Regis Hotel, luxury residences and an array of dining and leisure facilities.
