NYE at The Lex, W Brisbane
New arrival The Lex will be hosting one of the most lavish New Year’s Eve dinners that Queensland has to offer. A homage to New York City, The Lex transports guests with a menu showcasing the delights of classic grills found in the distinct neighbourhoods of the Big Apple.
The Lex will be serving a delectable three-course dining experience starting with Hiramasa kingfish crudo with zesty citrus dressing, marinated olives and fresh cucumber. Next up is an MB3+ Warwick Eye fillet paired with Jerusalem artichokes, charred onion, truffle jus, or a glorious line-caught blue coral trout with fresh blood orange beurre blanc, summer greens, fennel and watercress. Finish off this elegant evening by spoiling yourself with a boozy pear accompanied by silky coconut cream and an amaretti crunch. Bask in sweeping views of the Brisbane River as you eagerly await the spectacle of fireworks.
The first seating will be between 5pm and 6:15pm and is $179 for adults over 18, $150 for teens aged 13 to 17, and $60 for kids aged four to 12. The second seating is between 8pm and 10pm for three hours and is $270 for adults over 18, $150 for teens aged 13 to 17, and $60 for kids aged four to 12.
Midnight Session at Yoko, Brisbane
The Midnight Session at Yoko is an unmissable event if you’re spending New Year’s Eve in Brisbane. Yoko is renowned for its fine Japanese dining and enchanting riverside views. Indulge in a traditional Japanese banquet of edamame, wagyu striploin, ‘Tokyo Disco’ mochi and seasonal fruit. Enjoy signature Yoko wines and cocktails as the clock strikes midnight, with a clear view of the fireworks show at Howard Smith Wharves.
This New Year’s Eve dining event will be held from 9pm to 12.30am and will be priced at $270 per person for the banquet and three-hour beverage package, or $440 for the banquet and three-hour premium beverage package, which includes a much larger selection of beverages.

New Year’s Eve 2023 at Whalebridge
Whalebridge, the French bistro and bar in Circular Quay, is inviting you to ring in the New Year at the heart of Sydney Harbour. With views of the Sydney Opera House and the iconic Harbour Bridge plus delicious French cuisine, Whalebridge promises a memorable New Year’s Eve celebration.
Start with a glass of bubbly upon arrival before indulging in a curated four-course menu. Expect mouthwatering house specialties like ‘Fruits de Mer’ with lobster, Sydney rock oysters, scallop crudo and caviar to start, followed by classic French dishes, such as an 18-month Comte souffle, parfait and scrumptious mains.
The fireworks display will commence as the clock strikes midnight with champagne and wonderful views of the display. There is a selection of seating options at the event, with Tier 1 Bistro Water’s Edge priced at $1000 per person, Tier 2 Bistro at $800 per person, and Tier 3 City Side $600 per person.
NYE Opera Gala Concert at Sydney Opera House
Spend an evening at the world-famous Sydney Opera House where the New Year’s Eve Opera Gala will be ringing in the New Year. Soprano and award-winning cabaret star, Ali McGregor, and comedian and TV presenter, Adam Hills, will host the event in the Concert Hall. Start the evening right with champagne on arrival followed by a three-course meal served prior to the performance.
The performance will be a wild journey through the world of opera with a distinctly Australian flavour, right in the heart of Sydney’s world-famous New Year’s Eve celebrations. The cast will feature tenor Diego Torre, stunning sopranos Julie-Lea Goodwin and Sophie Salvesani, and baritone Luke Gabbedy, joined onstage by the Opera Australia Orchestra and conducted by Opera Australia’s Head of Music Tahu Matheson.
The dining experience will include premium matched wines and gourmet cuisine. The Midnight Party kicks off after the show with additional canapes and drinks to keep partygoers grooving into the wee hours. Tickets start from $199 per person and the event begins at 7:30pm.
New Year’s Eve at Club Millésime, Sofitel Sydney
For those wanting to see 2023 out in style, Club Millésime at Sofitel will certainly not disappoint. Boasting stunning views across Darling Harbour and the city, Clue Millésime on level 35 has floor-to-ceiling windows for endless views across the city and an entertainment line-up – including DJ Veda – seeing out the year. New Year’s Eve at Club Millésime includes canapes of eastern rock lobster tartlets, Pacific oysters, warm sea urchin custard with caviar and grilled wagyu. A dessert station and bottomless Veuve Clicquot sweeten the deal.
Club Millésime will begin food service from 8:30pm. Club Rooms and Suite bookings for the night will include access to Club Millésime and all evening activities, starting from $1,869 all-inclusive.
New Year’s Eve at Atelier, Sofitel Sydney
New Years Eve at Atelier is set to be a night filled with delicious food and great company. Winner of Two Hats and Two Wine Goblets in 2023, Atelier’s five-course tasting menu – with both a vegetarian option and something for the kids – is a delicious way to start the evening. Then, head into Darling Harbour to watch the fireworks light up the sky.
New Year’s Eve 2023 at Atelier by Sofitel is $250 per person, $100 per child (under 12). Dine with matching wines from $150 per person.
New Year’s Eve at Crown’s Conservatory
The Crown is one of Melbourne’s most iconic entertainment complexes, and while the younger set may be partying the evening away at the highest and most exclusive cocktail bar, Crown’s 28 Skybar Lounge, those seeking a more sophisticated evening should opt for the New Year’s Eve dinner with live entertainment at the Conservatory. With a diverse and exciting selection of international gastronomy that showcases premium local produce, Conservatory is serving a seafood buffet accompanied by a beverage package with Veuve Clicquot Champagne.
New Year’s Eve at the Conservatory has two available sittings at 5pm and 8:45pm, and prices start from $197.50 per child and $395 per adult, or $475 per person and $237.50 per child for the evening sitting that continues until midnight.

Escape to the Adelaide Hills for a refined New Year’s Eve 2023 experience at Mount Lofty Estate, where Hardy’s Verandah Restaurant will be dishing up the Grand HVR signature progressive dinner of six courses paired with Head Sommelier Abhas Saxena’s exclusive wine selection.
