These are the 6 best pet-friendly luxury hotels around the world

Cat person, dog person or somewhere in between, there’s no denying the importance of pets – so why not treat them to a stay at one of the world’s luxury pet-friendly hotels? Tabby Wilson finds the best of the best.

There’s nothing like booking a trip to a decadent hotel, but all too often that means leaving furry family members behind. Fortunately, there are some exceptions to the rule and a number of five-star properties have pet policies that promise to pamper on par with their human guests. From fine dining to premium amenities, these hotels and resorts go above and beyond for their four-legged guests.

The Langham, Sydney

The only pet-friendly accommodation among Sydney’s luxury hotels, The Langham, Sydney offers five-star service to all their patrons, regardless of their species. The Pampered Pets Program ensures all their animals are well looked after, with a ‘Pet Room Service Menu’ created from fresh produce, with dishes like ‘Lassie’s Favourite’ which features a beef steak and chunky vegetables. Pet-sitting and dog-walking services are available on request and after a long day exploring the city, your furry friends can relax on their very own Langham plush pink bed.

Both dogs and cats are welcome at the lavish Las Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort in Mexico’s San Jose del Cabo. In addition to the special menus, spa treatments and portable pet cabanas on offer, the hotel has dedicated ‘Dog Butlers’ to take care of a pet’s every whim and fancy.
