Flying first class just got a whole lot more spacious

The new Suite Plus from Lufthansa is taking flying to a while new level with all the privacy and spaciousness of a hotel room at 30,000 feet.

Lufthansa will expand its premium First Class in 2024 offering flyers the ultimate ‘Suite Plus’. Boasting a double cabin complete with ceiling-high walls and a fully closable door, inside expect a large table with two wide chairs that can be combined into a plush double bed. Fliers will also be able to modify the chair’s temperature to suit one’s personal preference.

With a wardrobe with ample storage space, you can neatly store all of your belongings during your flight. For the ultimate personalisation, connect your mobile device to the entertainment system for easy integration. On the food menu, expect gourmet dishes whipped up at any hour ensuring you’ll never go hungry mid-flight.

Business Class: more flexible than ever

The newly delivered Airbus A350s are part of “Lufthansa Allegris,” the airline’s new long-haul offering with an investment of two and a half billion euros by 2025 to up to air flight game.

In Lufthansa Business Class, guests can book their own suite, with more comfort and privacy from chest-high walls and sliding doors. Each suite boasts its own wardrobe and minibar. With suites interconnected so business-class guests travelling together buddy up and enjoy a large piece of privacy.

Seats can be converted into a two metre long bed with high-definition LCD screens, generously-sized dining tables, wireless charging, noise-canceling headphones and Bluetooth connectivity ensuring your journey is five-star.

Seats are also equipped with a heating and cooling system to set your preferred temperature. A tablet-sized control unit provides access to all seating, lighting, heating/cooling and entertainment functions. Choose between six seat options from extra-long bed, extra space and work area, a seat with a baby bassinet, or simply a seat by the window.

Premium Economy: more space, more choice

Premium Economy Class has also been upgraded with “Allegris” seat offering more legroom and a fold-out leg rest and a travel amenity kit made of sustainable materials. Lufthansa is also giving guests more choices in Economy Class with the option of booking seats in the first rows that offer more legroom, or a free seat next to them, for extra side room.
