Hotel launches incredible $21K Christmas hamper

The Lowry Hotel in Manchester is selling what may be the most expensive and luxurious Christmas hamper ever made.

“The new ‘Peace, Joy & The Lowry’ luxury hamper is a gift like no other,” the hotel said in a press release.

The smallest envelope holds the biggest treat. Anyone lucky enough to find this Christmas hamper under the tree will receive two nights accommodation in the hotel’s Charles Forte Presidential Suite.

This is Manchester’s largest penthouse and it’s normally priced at $7126 a night.

The package also includes a 24-hour personal butler, a bespoke in-room dining experience from the award-winning River Restaurant, two 60-minute spa treatments and Chef’s Choice dinner for two with Champagne.

But wait, there’s more…

The Lowry Hotel Christmas hamper also includes treats.

It has a bottle of Ace of Spades Champagne, a bottle of Remy Martin Louis XIII and two bottles of Lowry Gin.

Dig deeper and you will find Lowry Blend Tea from the Manor, flavoured macarons, chocolate truffles, two pairs of Lowry slippers, a Lowry bear, two jars of Lowry honey and an array of Aromatherapy Associates Ultimate Moments Ultimate Collection and Elemis spa gifts.

The package even has The Lowry Hotel’s 5-star cook at home Christmas lunch kit. So you can cook like Nigella with 80 per cent of the prep done.

The menu includes a bottle of Ayala Champagne and five sumptuous courses.

What’s for dinner?

If you buy this hamper you could be dining on goat’s cheese, beetroot, fig and truffle starter.

For main’s, you will devour a fish course of potted Cornish crab, turkey with cranberry and sage stuffing, pigs in blankets, Lancashire Bomb cauliflower cheese and duck fat roasties.

And for dessert? Christmas pud with iced redcurrants.

The price for the Lowry Christmas Hamper is a cool $21,000.

“This is the ultimate gift for those who want to go all out this festive season,” Adrian Ellis, General Manager The Lowry said.
