For travellers who seek the finest that the world has to offer

Kamalaya Koh Samui’s new day pass is your ticket to bliss

The editor of Signature Luxury Travel & Style, Cathy Wagstaff, experiences Thailand’s award-winning wellness sanctuary and holistic spa with a heavenly day visit.

Set against palm-fringed beaches, coconut groves and mountainous rainforest on Thailand’s second-largest island of Koh Samui, Kamalaya Koh Samui is a tranquil property renowned for its holistic approach to wellness. The resort fuses gastronomy, spirituality, restorative therapies, nature and design to create a synergistic well-being immersion. Expect architecture and interior design that champions natural materials and an East-meets-West culinary concept built upon principles of nourishment and freshness. There’s an open-air Wellness Sanctuary and a centuries-old cave at the heart of the property, once used by Buddhist monks but now open to guests for quiet reflection and meditation.

At Kamalaya Koh Samui, more than 50 certified wellness professionals deliver more than 70 therapies and treatments across naturopathy, Chinese medicine, Thai therapy, nutrition, Ayurveda, yoga, meditation and Pranayama, with Western medicine services administered by doctors, registered nurses and fitness specialists. While this enriching experience was once exclusively available to guests holidaying at this unique resort, Kamalaya Koh Samui has recently released day passes to its heavenly sanctum, available until 31 October 2024.

Kamalaya Koh Samui Day Pass

I was very fortunate to be invited to experience this new offering firsthand on a recent trip to Thailand. Arriving in time for breakfast and staying the full day until dinner, I road-tested the 60-minute Vital Essence massage and Kamalaya Koh Samui’s brand new healthy high tea offering, then spent the day reading by the pool, taking in the view, visiting the library, and enjoying access to the complimentary holistic activities programming. The verdict? Total bliss.

Available to purchase for personal access or as a gift voucher, Kamalaya Koh Samui’s day passes grant visitors access to the resort’s world-class facilities and experts, depending on your package of choice. All packages include access to the Shakti Fitness Centre, lap pool, herbal steam caverns, thermal plunge pools and beach, and include 10% off select spa treatments. However, guests can choose one of five packages for a tailor-made experience.
