1. Anantara Quy Nhon Villas

Quy Nhon, Vietnam
Opened: 15 November 2018
This 26-villa resort brings a new level of sophistication to this little-known pocket of central Vietnam, between Da Nang and Nha Trang. Look forward to private infinity pools, butler service, a holistic spa concept and a menu of local seafood.

2. Silversands Grenada

St George’s, Grenada
Opened: 1 December 2018
Explore the tropical beauty of the ‘Spice Isle’ from this intimate beachfront hideaway, complete with the Caribbean’s longest infinity pool at 100 metres. Each of the 39 rooms and 13 suites faces west to capture dreamy sunset views, while Silversands Spa offers a secluded sanctuary before dancing the night away at the beach club.

3. Six Senses Bhutan

Opening: Between 1 February (Thimpu) and May (Gangtey and Bumthang) 2019
Uncover the secrets of this Himalayan kingdom through a trail of resorts, each one set in its own valley and developed around its own theme. In total, there are just 82 suites over the five lodges, creating an intimate experience of Bhutan’s diverse natural splendour, spirituality and famously happy people.

4. Rosewood Hong Kong

Kowloon, Hong Kong
Opening: March 2019

Boasting prime location in the Victoria Dockside arts, design and culture district, this new luxe property claims a waterfront position occupying 43 floors of an all-new, 65-storey shared tower. Of its 322 guestrooms, there are 91 suites, as well as eight restaurants and bars and the first-ever urban outpost of Asaya signature integrative wellness.

5. Belmond Cadogan Hotel

London, UK
Opening: February 2019
The US$48 million transformation of this historic property is almost complete, reimagining its 54 rooms and suites for a new era. Built in 1887, the Chelsea pied-à-terre was once home to Oscar Wilde and Lillie Langtry, the actress known for capturing the heart of the Prince of Wales, the future Edward VII.

6. Hotel de la Ville, a Rocco Forte Hotel

Rome, Italy
Opening: May 2019

Cosying up to some of Rome’s most iconic sights, this hotel is positioned mere moments from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. Three restaurants, a two-storey wellness facility and a rooftop bar overlooking the city are just a few features that will appeal to guests, with modern conveniences one might not expect of its grand 18th-century architecture.

7. 30 Hudson Yards

Opening: TBC, 2019
Upscale gym behemoth Equinox has expanded its reach to the realm of luxury hotels, with the world’s first “fitness hotel” set to open on Manhattan’s West Side. Guests can expect the highest outdoor observation deck in the western hemisphere in addition to its indoor and outdoor pools, restaurants and bars and a state-of-the-art gym and spa.

8. Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti

Opening: Reservations expected to open in March 2019
The first sister property to Lefay Resorts’ Lake Garda location, the new Pinzolo resort is set amid the World Heritage-listed Dolomites in the ski area of Madonna di Campiglio, blending seamlessly into the landscape. Ski and cycling facilities are complemented by bars, two restaurants and 84 spacious suites, while the spa offers dedicated relaxation and treatment areas and fitness facilities.

Utah, USA
Opening: May 2019
Customised adventures, an expansive outdoor infinity pool and a philosophy of wellness and preservation invite guests to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Wasatch Mountains at this secluded Auberge Resorts lodge, just 40 minutes from Salt Lake City’s international airport. Four luxury tents, which come complete with soaking tubs, are the epitome of this approach, although 46 guest rooms and suites are a comfortable and equally beautiful alternative.
