Simple Pleasures Camping Co. is offering its pop-up luxury camping experience in the spectacular grounds of Mayfield Garden in Oberon, NSW.
‘Glamping in the Garden’ is the latest pop-up instalment from the team at Simple Pleasures Camping Co. which is offering its luxuriously appointed tents in the spectacular grounds of Mayfield Garden in Oberon, NSW for the ultimate location to delight the senses from 23 March to 30 April.
Guests are invited to glamp in absolute comfort and enjoy the tranquillity and majestic surrounds of the gardens, with exclusive night-time access to the Mayfield Garden, one of the world’s largest privately owned cool-climate gardens covering 65 hectares. Mayfield is a hidden gem that provides an immersive and intimate destination to ignite the imagination. Originally created by the Hawkins family in the mid 1990s, it must be seen to be believed.
The bell tents are fitted out with vintage rugs from around the world, luxurious mattresses brought to you by Hugo Sleep, and linen by IN BED. Bookings are twin share and include dinner for 2, a Mayfield Farmers BBQ (cook your own) and al fresco dining in the glamping area. Mayfield steaks, marinated chicken, fresh vegetable platter and Mayfield vegan salad will be provided, sourced on site from the paddock and produce gardens. Mayfield will tantalise your tastebuds with a paddock-and-garden-to-plate barbecue menu, with 80% of what is served being Mayfield’s produce, and the remaining handpicked from local suppliers. Visitors can also take a piece of Mayfield home, from the propagated nursery, or one of the delicious jams and chutneys, homemade soaps and candles and other local merchandise.
Guests will have access to one of only 15 exclusive and luxuriously appointed tents set up by the Obelisk Pond. The garden destination is renowned for its landmarks, including the 80-metre Cascade, The Walled Kitchen Garden, the stunning 2.5-hectare Water Garden, the Grotto, the blue-stone Chapel, The Bird Aviary, English Rose garden and Islamic-style pond.
With a wide range of hands-on workshops, experiences and special events over this time, Mayfield Garden is fast becoming the artistic and entertainment hub of regional NSW.
