Escapade Silverstone set to be the ultimate address for auto enthusiasts.
Once the runway of World War II Wellington bombers, Silverstone Circuit has since become one of England’s most legendary tracks. From March to November, race events are held almost weekly, including the British Grand Prix and Silverstone Classic, with many visitors opting to stay in London to find the type of accommodation they are looking for. Now, racing fans can stay trackside thanks to a luxury development cropping up next to the tarmac.
Dubbed Escapade Silverstone, the project will include 60 residences in two-, three- and four-bedroom layouts boasting amenities such as underfloor heating, comfort cooling, ensuite bathrooms and the latest tech. Overlooking the tracks most notable set of corners – Copse, Maggots, Becketts and Chapel – the front-row residences are just 12 metres from the crash barrier and set on cantilevered terraces for the best possible views.
“We’re building a community that shares a collective lust for performance, speed and great machines,” Escapade Living CEO, Will Tindall, says on the company’s website.
The developers understood that buyers will undoubtedly be auto enthusiasts and have added features catering for this. One of these is the expansive climate-controlled car and motorbike garages for vehicle storage.
“We know that at certain times it can feel like a full-time job looking after multiple vehicles,” Tindall comments. “This is why we provide storage, maintenance and preparation for track days and events. This ensures owners and guests can spend their time enjoying their vehicles and all that Escapade Silverstone has to offer.”
For the exclusive use of owners and guests, the on-site Clubhouse not only provides the perfect place to watch all the activities on the circuit, but also simulator rooms for those wanting to perfect their knowledge of the track, an indoor oxygen swimming pool and sauna, and a roof terrace for private dining.
Outside of major sporting events, guests can explore their motorsport interests on the track and beyond. Whether you’re a novice wishing to learn how to tackle some of Silverstone’s most iconic corners or a more accomplished driver, private instruction, on-hand personal training and a fully-tailored performance program are all available. Other driving experiences located on the circuit include the Porsche Experience Centre and Handling Track, the Aston Martin Test and Development Centre based at the Stowe Circuit, a conference and exhibition facility in the Wing, and also the Silverstone Experience Museum.
Construction is expected to be complete in May 2022.
