Bugatti claims the limited-edition Chiron Super Sport is its “most versatile and drivable” model yet. But Australian fans will be disappointed.
The recently unveiled super car has a price tag of $AUD5.5 million. It features an elongated chassis, modified engine, updated aero, lighter componentry, and reworked interior.
This Chiron Super Sport is capable of speeds up to 440km an hour. It launches from 0-200km/h in 5.8 seconds, and hits 300km/h in 12.1 seconds.
“Our aim was to give the vehicle a neutral setup at its top speed while also giving it as streamlined a shape as possible,” Frank Heyl, Deputy Design Director at Bugatti said in a statement.
Bugatti will soon begin with the manufacture of the Chiron Super Sport in Molsheim, France. The company has promised the first Chiron Super Sport deliveries in early 2022.
But it does not plan to build the vehicle in right-hand drive.
That means, the Chiron Super Sport, almost certainly, won’t make its way to Australia.
If you do love the look of this super car, your best chance to drive one would be to head to Europe. Hopefully, it will be included in drive tours of the continent.
Or you could keep one at your European home.
