The Reef House Boutique Hotel and Spa won gold in the 5 Star Luxury Accommodation category at the Queensland Tourism Awards in both 2022 and 2023, and was named TripAdvisor’s Second Luxury Hotel in Australia, and Second Top Hotel in South Pacific and Australia in 2023.

Overall, 78 awards were presented across 26 categories, with a Gold, Silver and Bronze winner announced for each category. The most coveted award, Major Tourist Attraction, was won by The Australian Reptile Park in New South Wales.

The Tourist Attraction category was awarded to Katherine Outback Experience in the Northern Territory.

In the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Island Tourism Experience, the winner was wukalina Walk in Tasmania. In the Ecotourism category, Gold went to Fun Over 50 Holidays – Immersive Tours and Adventure. The Cultural Tourism award went to the Royal Australian Mint, and the Major Festivals & Events category was awarded to the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers.

The Reef House Boutique Hotel and Spa in Queensland took out the 5 Star Luxury Accommodation accolade and Western Australia’s Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm won in the Unique Accommodation category.
