This treehouse suspends you above a private game reserve in South Africa
andBeyond has designed the new overnight retreat as the ultimate way to enjoy the wilderness of andBeyond Ngala Private Game Reserve from your accommodation.
andBeyond is raising the bar with their latest Ngala Treehouse experience. The remote retreat is hidden in the depths of the andBeyond Ngala Private Game Reserve, offering a lavish sleep-out adventure beneath the stars on the border of one of South Africa’s most famous wilderness areas.
The four-level treehouse has a choice of two sleeping areas: the enclosed and weatherproof bedroom features a king-size bed and hot shower, while an elevated sleeping platform on the rooftop promises open air and starry skies. Although not kitted out with a kitchen, the treehouse has a stocked bar and a selection of midnight snacks to keep visitors of the venue more than happy.
Guests can choose to arrive at the treehouse in time to toast the sunset with cocktails and snacks or after their late afternoon game drive. A tapas-style picnic dinner is set up in the safety of an enclosed boma beneath the stars. Guests are then left in luxurious solitude for the night, provided with a radio and mobile phone for use in case of inclement weather or other emergencies.
Not designed for long-term stays, the Ngala Treehouse is an innovative overnight wilderness experience that complements a stay at one of the reserve’s two permanent lodges, andBeyond Ngala Safari Lodge or andBeyond Ngala Tented Camp. A night at one of these properties must be booked in addition to the treehouse.
