Vomo Island Fiji has injected some fitness action into its daily resort program, to help you stay active on your private island stay. Join the VOMOFit revolution.
With VOMOFit, guests can join a workout in the morning, co-ordinated by Australian fitness trainer Scott Thompson, who has put together a series of workouts to follow using yoga mats provided by the resort.
Guests can also participate in the Cure Kids Sunrise Challenge by walking or running up the side of Mt Vomo to capture amazing sunrise vistas and keep fit all at the one time. Pay a FJD$10 fee per person to clock your walk or run time on Strava with all proceeds going to Cure Kids Charity and go in the draw to win a trip back to VOMO, with one lucky guest chosen each year to win five nights back at VOMO. There are lots of amazing activities to participate in with a nine-hole golf course, tennis court, fully-equipped air-conditioned gym, daily snorkel safaris, kayaking, standup paddle boarding, sailing, swimming, a five-kilometre round island walk and ‘Fiji versus the World’ volleyball. Any of these active events ensure you’ll be back in time to enjoy the delicious cuisine with three-course lunches and dinners served each day, perhaps followed by guilt-free sunset cocktails. The new VOMOFit program caters to all fitness levels.
