India — 13 days
Day 3: Be introduced to meditation in Udaipur
Today you’ll leave Delhi and make your way to the Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur. You’ll have the afternoon to do as you please, and then in the evening, you’ll participate in a guided meditation. Your expert guide will offer tips to establish your own daily meditation routine. While eating dinner, take in a show of local music and traditional dancing.
Day 6: Learn about Ayurveda at Amanbagh
In the morning you’ll jet off to Jaipur, where you can explore Amber Fort, an imposing red sandstone fortress that rises up out of the hillside. After lunch, you’ll journey into the foothills of Rajasthan’s Aravalli hills to Amanbagh, a resort with a focus on wellness immersions. Take the opportunity to meet with an Ayurvedic doctor, who will make health suggestions based on your body type.
Day 8: Learn about the Ayurvedic diet
Spend the day at your leisure, taking in the resort’s gym or yoga lessons. Alternatively, make your way back into Jaipur for a day of adventure and exploration. While enjoying dinner tonight you’ll get a hands-on opportunity to learn about the Ayurvedic healing properties of key foods.
Day 10: Embrace India’s spiritual side
Today’s an early start in order to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise, the orange rays softened by a gentle morning mist. You’ll have the rest of the day to yourself, before flying to Varanasi, India’s spiritual heart, in the evening. Stay at Brijrama Palace, a heritage hotel perched on the banks of the Ganges River.

Day 2: Learn about Peruvian cuisine
Start the day with a yoga session before taking part in a Chef’s Table experience. You’ll join a local chef for a guided walk through the markets to gather ingredients for breakfast, before heading to a local restaurant for a hands-on lesson in cooking Peruvian cuisine. For the rest of the day, explore Lima, including the Plaza Mayor, home to a 16th-century cathedral. In the afternoon at your hotel, you’ll enjoy a talk on the healing powers of ayahuasca, a plant that has both medical and spiritual uses to indigenous tribes in the Amazon.
Day 4: Embrace the natural world of the Andes
Travel high into the Andes to kayak on the pristine waters of Huaypo, a remote lagoon some 3,800 metres above sea level. In the afternoon you’ll get the chance to take part in one of Peru’s most sacred traditional rituals, joining a local shaman in a ‘payment of the earth’ ceremony and extending an offering to the earth goddess Pachamama. Afterwards, enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the lagoon, before visiting a remote mountain community to learn more about medicinal plants of the Andes.
Day 7: Walk the ruins of Machu Picchu
Your prime location at the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge adjacent to the ruins means that your group will be some of the first people to arrive at the citadel, with the chance to wander between the crumbling stone walls in the muted pinks and oranges of the morning light. You’ll also have the option of hiking the towering peak of Huayna Picchu for stunning views over the valley. In the evening, take part in a traditional baci ceremony, a Laotian welcoming ritual performed to bestow the protective power of the spirits on the visitor.
Day 6: Meditate by Kuang Si Falls
