Soneva Jani, Maldives

With both on-land and overwater villas, the new Soneva Jani, Maldives sets another benchmark in contemporary luxury accommodation. Its name, in fact, is inspired by the Sanskrit word meaning ‘wisdom’, and Jani’s unique villas embody Soneva’s raw, sustainable and organic vision of luxury. Located on Medhufaru Island in the Noonu Atoll, the resort is set against the waters of the 5.6-kilometre private lagoon that surrounds the island, and is set to open on 5 November 2016.
